The Hard Truth Campaign

How do you stand out at a trade show? You get real with people . By addressing  the real problems they are facing in their business rather than promoting your products you are presenting them with the best solution. The hard truth campaign was inspired by a quote one of our clients said that really stood out to me. From there our banners had faded in the background all the issues a business may face that supply chain software can fix such as lost customers, missed sales, bad reviews etc.

New Hire Box

To amplify the new hire experience I recommended and executed the idea of a welcome box. Each "Bright Box" is sent after a new hire has accepted a position including a t-shirt, keychain, seat ticket and welcome letter. This initiative has helped introduce new team members to our culture earlier and has received very positive feedback.

Recruitment

Before old trade show banners were being used to recruit new hires. The audience between a buyer for supply chain and a college new grad are very different. I wanted to promote priorities  important to a college student when looking for a job. For Deposco, a big differentiator  is the culture. The team works hard but also has many company events for team  bonding hence the work hard play hard. 

Rather than have a small trinket, I  decided to provide string bags so they could put all their flyers from Deposco as well as other vendors in them while still advertising our brand around the career fair. Free marketing. On the collateral are benefits, open positions and pictures of team members at the company. 

I started Deposco's instagram for recruiting purposes. Most supply chain software buyers are not shopping on instagram for a new supply chain solution. However the majority of college students look at instagram to get a grasp of a companies culture. The page focuses on quotes that match our culture and  team events and get togethers. It has been a great tool for recruiting to leverage and been a differentiator for the  industry.
